A high mountain meadow in California's Sierra Nevadas blooms profusely around one of many small creeks in which melted snow begins its journey downhill.

Mary Beth Harrison became an artist sitting at her childhood kitchen table, drawing dinosaurs and Dr. Suess characters with her siblings. The joy she felt creating art as a child lay dormant in the busy adult years but was rediscovered as her nest became empty! She loves combining plein air oil painting, photography, and studio work to create vibrant works of art that depict the stories of people, events, and moments to remember in the Sierra Nevada foothills.
